Working for STS

Take a leap and join our brilliant team!

Do you love working with people, trying new things and partaking in unique experiences? STS might be the company for you!

Our seasonal staff are paramount to our operations. They are the ones on site with our customers, making sure everybody has a good time, stays hydrated and uses plenty of sunscreen. They foster a fun and welcoming atmosphere and intuitively know how to create those special STS moments. They take pride in what they do, embodying STS’s core values: Respect, Passion and Expertise.

We all remember the feelings of independence and self-discovery we experienced the first time we went abroad by ourselves. It’s a beautiful thing to be able to share that experience with our students, helping to shape their future and giving them the chance to discover the world.

We are looking for leaders and staff to give our students the experience of a lifetime. Join us at STS and meet other passionate people who are dedicated to empowering young people through cultural exchange!

At what job can you...

  • Make a meaningful difference in the life of a child?
  • Develop your own skills while being goofy, laughing, singing, dancing and just being yourself?
  • Learn essential hands-on-skills for your future, like teamwork, problem-solving and leadership?
  • Surround yourself with other self-starters?
  • Tap into your creativity and think on your feet?
  • Make lifelong friendships with people from all over the world?
  • Grow professionally? (At STS your journey doesn’t end with the trip. Did you know that our CEO started as a Centre Manager?!)

My STS Journey

A job that inspires, empowers, and encourages you to reach your full potential so that you can inspire, empower and encourage young people into reaching theirs. Whats not to love about that?
Ban, UK Leader
This is one of the most rewarding things a person could do. As a leader, you're never bored, as you get to combine the excitement of travel with the ability to help young people grow to become confident, kind and open-minded global citizens. I’ve spent the majority of my summers the past decade as an STS leader in the UK, on Malta, in the US and Canada, and I wouldn't change my experiences for anything in the world.
Johan, Canada Leader
I have worked for STS for four summers. Working as a leader I’ve had a really nice experience from working abroad. As a leader you get to see cool places and experience a lot. I think it has been a privilege to get to travel for work with amazing students from different nationalities and also get to know other leaders from other countries!
Jenny, USA Welcome Camp
I started my journey with STS as a Centre Manager in the UK. I love the pulse and energy working with students and I still have friends from around the world that I got during this experience. STS has always been more than a job for me as I have seen the impact our programs have. We are developing a great company together.
John, CEO
I am a traveler and the students love to hear my travel stories. There is more beyond just being a tourist, and I always stress the importance of learning languages to make every trip meaningful. When months later they tell me that they went traveling or they started studying abroad, that’s the best reward for me. It can change their life and that’s what keeps me coming back with STS every summer.
Jacopo, Italian Leader
My favorite part about working for STS has been to challenge myself and getting to know myself better. At the same time as making friends and memories for life! It has taught me lots about teamwork and problem solving, I would truly recommend it to anyone.
